Dice System for PRPG tabletop

The intent of this dice system is to simplify the outcomes of actions and rolls but add variety as well. Below are the descriptions of the symbols and dice applications.

Player Dice

Success: This symbol depicts the success of the roll the number of these symbols must be greater than the number of failure symbols displayed by the GM.

Advantage: This symbol represents how well the action succeeded of failed. It is possible to fail well, or succeed poorly depending on the amount of advantage you roll.

Triumph: If this symbol is displayed on any dice roll it counts as 1 success but an immense amount of advantage applied to the total rolled by the player.

DM Dice

Failure: This symbol negates every success symbol in favor of the GM’s decision. It must tie or beat the amount of success symbols shown.

Disadvantage: This symbol directly counts the advantage symbol. This symbol demonstrates that the action has some negative consequences applied to it if the disadvantage is greater than that of the advantage.

Despair: This symbol counts as 1 failure as well as an immense amount of disadvantage. If this symbol shows the consequences of the players actions could be dire.

Dice Color Application

Proficiency Dice(yellow): This dice represents your character's characteristics proficiency. The combination of characteristics and attributes affect the number of these dice rolled.

Attempt Dice(green): This dice represents your character’s aptitude at an action.

Nemesis Dice(red): This is a nemesis dice, it is used to increase the difficulty of all nemesis checks and even attempted impossible feats.

Difficulty Dice(purple): This is the standard difficulty dice, the number of these dice rolled determines the difficulty of the roll.

Advantage/Disadvantage Dice(light blue/black): This is your advantage dice, the number of these dice roll can change depending on the circumstances of the situation. Some ability and skills may apply or remove these dice.

Six Sided Dice: Rolls this dice to determine the remaining effects of an applied status. This can be any six sided dice you want to use.
